David Hamilton

Often using locally felled wood, David makes musical instruments and traditional wooden boxes and household items.  He has evolved a personal style where contrasting woods take the place of metal hinges and closures.

A calligrapher producing both traditional and contemporary work, Norman makes lettering an artform in its own right and has recently worked on a series of guided walk leaflets. He has also done some logo designs, a bookmaking workshop and demonstrations of medieval calligraphy.

Despite a lifelong interest in textiles it is only in recent years that Mary has been exploring the whole process of creating from raw materials through to a finished article through the age-old crafts of spinning, dyeing, weaving or knitting. Mary produces one-off articles of clothing or household items.

Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor is a professional artist working mainly in oils, favouring representational subjects in a loose painterly style.  He has a great love of vast skyscapes, the sea and coastal scenes   also views of Pendle and the beautiful Ribble Valley and woodlands. Peter has his own gallery, The Old Bakehouse Gallery, 23 Eshton Terrace, Clitheroe, and also works to commission.

Gloria's great interest is mainly in natural history and this reflects in her paintings. As a keen walker in the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, flowers, landscapes and wildlife dominate this theme, which is her main passion for painting.
